Norma L Worbs

Norma L. Worbs, 85, of Gahanna, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Norma was born in Chauncy, OH to Fred and Carrie (Leffler) Ross and is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, William G. Worbs; daughter, Jenifer Lee Dabbs; 2 brothers, 4 sisters and close friend, Glenita Locke.

Norma is survived by her son, Jeff (Lisa) Worbs; brother, Paul (Shirley) Ross; grandchildren, Ryan (Elizabeth Michaelis) Worbs, Katy (Anthony) Woltz, Ashton Poore, Auston Poore; great-grandson, Spencer Woltz; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Norma worked for Ohio Bell and the Westerville Schools.

She was actively involved at New Horizons Community Church including teaching and sending out cards.

Norma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand Nanny. Her hobbies included reading, watching OSU sports and old movies, listening to Gospel music, bird watching, and gardening.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH . In addition, A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held immediately following at her church located at 2100 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, Blacklick, OH 43004.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Norma's church.
