Norma "Gerry" White, 86, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Worthington, Ohio. Gerry was born on December 22, 1932 in Sias, West Virginia to the late Albert and Gladys Elkins.
In addition to her parents, Gerry is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby A. White; sisters, Dottie, Kay and Evelyn; brother, Tommy.
She is survived by her daughter, Chris L. (Todd) Wellman; grandchildren, Shanna (Stephen) Harless and Anthony (Jen) Wellman; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Owen and Maclen; brother, Johnny Elkins; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gerry was a huge OSU Buckeye fan. She enjoyed shopping, going to Gillie and baking Christmas cookies. Gerry also enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm also at Newcomer Northeast Chapel.
Those wishing to donate in Gerry's honor may contribute to the American Cancer Society, East Central Division, 5555 Frantz Road, Columbus, Ohio 43017.
