Norman C Behnke

Norman C. Behnke, 89,was called to his eternal home on December 14, 2015. Originally of Reedsville, WI, Norman and his family relocated to Columbus in 1954, where he was a lifetime member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union Local 200, owner/operator of Behnke Tire Company and an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernst and Selma (Herzog) Behnke; brother Lloyd Behnke and sister Myrtle Behnke. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Inez (Rusch) Behnke; sons Gary (Colleen), Gregory (Brenda), Ronald (Libby) and Randall (Teresa) Behnke; daughter, Diane (George) King; sisters Gertrude Haese and Germaine Schuh; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm with funeral service Tuesday at 10am, followed by burial at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
