Norman S. Graham, age 72, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Norman was born on July 19, 1944 in Columbus, OH and was raised in his early years in Oak Hill, OH.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Martha McKenzie, wife, Joan A. Graham and his parents Clarence S. and Ruth Graham.
Norm graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1962 and attended Ohio State University for a period of time.
He was employed by the F.&R. Lazarus Company for 33 years in the delivery and warehouse operation, worked 8 years for his brother-in-law at Hardy's Express and 7 years for the Thomas W. Ruff Co.
Norm served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era as a landing craft operator from 1966 -1968. He was very proud of his military service to his country.
He was retired and worked part time for Gardner Inc.
Norm loved auto racing, motorcycling, volleyball, softball and traveling. He was always on the go, never slowing down but was devastated with the loss of his wife, Joan, in 2007. He was a dedicated son to his parents.
Norm leaves behind 2 daughters, Tammy (Mark) Charles, Amy Dougherty; grandchildren, McKenzie, Landon, Briana, Connor and Carter; brother, Thomas A. Graham of Logan, UT; sister, Ruth Elaine Hoover of Orlando, FL; also survived by many cousins including Ronda Link of Grove City, Anita Rustad of Huntington Beach, CA, John Graham of Washington D.C., Ted Graham of London, OH, Jerry Hollback of Jackson, OH, Betty McFann of Oak Hill, OH; nieces, Elizabeth Giles of Smithfield, UT, Samantha Nielson of San Diego, CA; nephew, Ian Graham of Washington D.C.
Funeral service to be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where viewing will be held 2 hours prior to service time.
Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
