Norman Herbert Holzhauer, 87, died on July 19, 2020 at home in Dublin, OH.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brigitte, his daughter, Tina Soehner and her husband David Soehner of Dublin, OH, his daughter, Monica Sylla and her husband William Sylla of Portsmouth, NH and his five grandchildren.Norm was born in Elizabeth, NJ and served in the US Army for three years as a radio operator.
He was employed as an engineer for Bell Laboratories and AT&T in NJ for 38 years. After retirement, Norm and Brigitte moved to Dublin, OH. Norm had a deep interest in telecommunication technology that drove both his professional career and his hobbies which included restoring antique telephones and radios.
He will be deeply missed for his wit and quiet presence.
