Ocie Wernert

Ocie "Dolly" Wernert, age 78, passed away Friday June 29, 2018. Dolly is predeceased by her parents: Walter and Cora Trail, brothers: Harold Trail and Edward (Helen) Trail and sister Lois (Donald) Trail-Copley. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Kenneth Wernert, brother, Everett (Glennis) Trail, sister, Ernestine Trail-Berry, children: Jessie Donald-Trail, Kenny Lee (Kathy) Wernert, Penny (Elmer) Smith, Bobby Lee Wernert, grandchildren: Christopher, Stephen, Jennifer, Brian, Michael, Cody and Mandy and several great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. She worked at the Waffle House on Wilson Road for 27 years. Dolly was known for her love of the Special Olympics and cooked many homemade chicken and noodle dinners.

Friends and family may call Thursday July 5, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH where a funeral service will take place Friday July 6th at 11 am.
