Olivia "Ollie" Faye Cornett, age 60, went to be with our Lord, while being lovingly cared for, at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 13, 2014. Cause was stage four cancer, which filled her torso. Born September 22, 1953, Perry County, Kentucky, to Goldie Allen Cornett and Rudolph Cornett. Preceded in death by parents and step father, Adam Miller, sisters, Rena Sue Cornett Duff, Veda Joyce Cornett Baker, brothers-in-law Shirley Dean Brewer and Dink Baker. Surviving family; son, Irvine Wayne Cornett (Jeanetta) Miller. Siblings and their spouses, Anna Lois Cornett Brewer (Clark) Mace, Patsy Louise Cornett (Mike) Mulisano, Barbara Kaye Cornett (Bob) Riggs, Harold Dolph Cornett, Chester Joseph "Joey" Miller and Enoch Adam "Junior" (Janie) Miller. Step-brothers, Linville "Denny" (Tracy) Miller, Temis Ray Miller, and Earl Don (Maxine) Hudson. Olivia also leaves behind many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, throughout Ohio, Kentucky and surrounding states, with a strong legacy of kindness, family, bonding and love. Appreciation goes to the many members of the Bridges to Independence Corporation that allowed her to live independently, with special thanks to her entire personal staff, Arc Industries and Aspen Program, which helped her work, advance and enjoy her extraordinary life. Olivia touched and held onto, all of the people she encountered, in so many precious ways. She will be remembered dearly and missed tremendously, by everyone in her life. A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Wednesday, September 17 between the hours of 5 to 7pm. Prayer service to follow at 7pm. Internment in the Allen Family Cemetery in Pigeon Roost, Kentucky, will be announced at a later date.
