Omer E. Crego, 90 of Orient, passed away at his son's residence on February 17, 2014. Born on October 2, 1923 to the late Charles and Garnet (Holmes) Crego in Columbus, Ohio. Proud veteran of WWII and participated in the Honor Flight to Washington DC. Survived by children Ross (Sandy) Crego, Becki (Don) Park, David (Patti) Crego and Dwight (Waneta) Crego, grandchildren Kirk (Julie) Crego, Kristin (Russ) Clemens, Mike (Terri) Layton, Robert (Jean) Layton, Chad Layton, Curtis (Erin) Crego, John Crego, Jennifer (Jeremy) Sheets and Cain Crego, 11 great grandchildren and brother Alph (Eva) Crego. Preceded in death by wife of 70 years, Miriam Crego, brothers Harold, Bill, Steve and Marvin Crego.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 4pm until time of service at 7pm with Pastor Debbie Nance officiating.
