Opal (Kinser) Farmer, 68, was called home, peacefully, July 25th at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Opal was born November 10th, 1949, in Logan, West Virginia to the late Rush and Lola Kinser. Opal was married to the love of her life and devoted husband, Manuel Joseph Farmer on September 7th, and later moved to Columbus, Ohio. Opal is survived by her loving husband, daughter, Opal Jean "Jeannie" Farmer, son, Manuel Joseph "Joey" Farmer, grandchildren, Javier Benitez, Elizabeth Raga-Hernandez, Katie (Victor) Gonzales, Rosa (Bruce) Montez and Leticia Gomez, great grandchildren, Mia Benitez and Jackson Benitez all of Columbus, Ohio. Also survived by loving sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and family friends. Opal was a very kind and generous woman who fed, clothed, housed and nurtured anyone in need and will be sorely missed by all. Viewing will be held between the hours of 4pm- 7pm on July 31st with a service on August 1st at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123. Followed by a procession to Green Lawn Cemetery.
