Ora L. "O.J." Johnson, Jr.

Ora L. Johnson, Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully June 28, 2026 at Darby Glen Nursing Home in Hilliard. He was an avid OSU fan, enjoyed playing golf, and managed his band “Wild County Outlaw Band”. He served in the U.S. Army, Vietnam War.

Proceeded in death by parents, Nadine and Ora L. Johnson, Sr.; and brothers, Edwin and Billy.

He is survived by his aunt, Peggy Maggard; niece and nephew, Sandy and Greg; Goddaughters, Rosetta Collura and Stacy Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Thank you to his three best friends, Chuck Collura, Sue (Collura) Faun and Kathy (Collura) Monaghan for their love and support. Thanks also to the staff and caretakers at Darby Glenn and also to Bella Care Hospice.

Family and Friends may call from 4pm to 6pm, with a service to honor Ora’s life at 6pm on July 8, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. Military honors will be provided at services.
