Orlando "Tony" DeNiro , long-time resident of Munroe Falls Ohio, passed away in Columbus on March 29, 2016 at age 91. He was born on October 20, 1924 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late Carl and Angeline (Garnet) DeNiro.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings; Joseph, Rebecca, Phillip, Marie, twin Carl Jr., Louis, and Priscilla.
Tony is survived by his wife Rosalie (Albers); children Dennis (Martha) and Peggy; grandchildren Sarah (Alex) Tornero, Jacob (Christine) Rhode, Julia DeNiro, Steve DeNiro, and Hannah Rhode, great-grandchildren Vivian Tornero and Jackson Rhode. Tony will also be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Tony served in the Army during WWII and retired from Ford Motor Co after 30 years of employment. An avid Cleveland sports fan, Tony never gave up hope for a Browns Super Bowl Championship. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling. Tony was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Tallmadge, Ohio. A loving and dedicated father and grandfather, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family.
Burial will take place at Immanuel Cemetery, in Golden, Illinois.In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio
