Oscar Wayne Schade, 79, passed away on May 23, 2014 in Westerville, OH. He was born on November 17, 1934 in White Haven, PA to Herman and Virginia (Knorr) Schade.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Richard "Rick" Schade; infant daughter, Laura Marie; and siblings, Jean Hill and Alvin Schade.
He is survived by his long time companion, Betty L. Sharp; children, David (Debra) Schade and Tava (Ed) Eldridge; grandchildren, Joseph, Casey, Andrea, Brianne, Allen, and Charles Richard Jr.; and 4 great grandchildren.
Oscar joined the U.S. Air Force at a young age. He served in Arkansas, Ohio, and Africa. Oscar was a radar technician on B-47 Bombers. After the Air Force, he spent most of his life as a baker. He will greatly missed by all that knew him.
A graveside service will be held for Oscar on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 12:00pm at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 State Route 3, Westerville OH 43082. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
