Owusu Amponsah, age 61, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2026. Owusu was born on November 20, 1964 in Ghana to the late Kwabena Adade and Adwoah Serwaah.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Yaa Asantewaa Agyemang, children,Harriet Serwaa (Gyeabour Abrefa), Elizabeth Serwaa, Joseph Amponsah, Daniel Amponsah (Islahatudeen Abu Seidu), Sylvester Amponsah.
He was a deacon at the Church of Pentecost. He was a Sunday school teacher and also part of the church security. He was a man of God. He served the Lord with passion. His favorite food was fufu. He loved watching boxing and soccer. He was very compassionate, loving, caring, and funny. He was a hard working and selfless man.
He will be deeply missed.
