Pamela Kay Leimbach, age 57, of Columbus, was called to her eternal heavenly home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 7, 2017 at her residence and surrounded by her loving family. During her almost 8-year battle with ovarian cancer, Pam was an inspiration to many around her as she maintained her faith, determination, humor, kindness, generosity and love for friends and family to the very end. Pam was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 15, 1959 to the late Milo and Helen (Brubaker) Miller, and grew up in Eaton, Ohio. Pam was a loving wife to her husband of 26 years, Gary Leimbach; and a loving mother to her amazing children Rachel, Hope and Shane Leimbach. She is also survived by siblings Marvin (Cindy) Miller and Maurice (Claudia) Miller of Eaton, Barbara (Richard) Robinson of Richmond, Bruce Miller of Eaton, and many nieces and nephews. Pam was blessed to have an outpouring of love and support from her family and close friends from her church life group, Gahanna Christian Academy and co-workers from the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps. Pam was a graduate of The Ohio State University and worked for the State of Ohio for 31 years, including 26 years at the Ohio Department of Health. Pam was a member of Christian Community Church – Westerville for 16 years until it ceased to exist and a member of Polaris Church for the past 10 years.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, May 12 at Polaris Church and 1 hour before the Celebration of Life service, which will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 13 at Polaris Church, 1250 Gemini Place, Columbus, Ohio 43240.
