Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts and profound love, we remember the beautiful life of Pamela Ann “Pam” Theado, who peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Darby Glenn Nursing Home in Hilliard, Ohio. Born on August 2, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, Pam’s life was anchored by deep and abiding love for her family.

She was a loving mother to her daughters, Sarah (Paul) Tardino and Maggie (Josh) Mikesell, who were constants in her world and her greatest pride. Nothing brought Pam more joy than laughter and time spent with her grandchildren—Zach (Elisa), Delaney, Lili, Nik, Oliver, and Finn. Her eyes shone brightest when she talked about their achievements and dreams, and her legacy lives on in their boundless energy and kindness.

She is also survived by her devoted sisters, Sharon (Brad) Scales and Theresa (Scot) Schreck, as well as her brother, Michael Stamper.

Pam’s is now reunited in peace with her beloved husband of 28 years, Gary Theado, whose memory she held close; as well as her parents, Jack and Esther Stamper, and her mother-in-law, Norma Theado.

A dedicated worker, Pam spent many years faithfully serving at the Ohio BMV and Title Agency. Her colleagues remember her not just for her work ethic, but for the lightness and laughter she brought to each day.

Outside of her professional life, Pam was known for her creativity—a talented crafter, she especially loved crocheting. Her hobbies extended to the joys of bingo nights and Happy Hour at Darby Glenn, bringing happiness and community to her later years.

Pam's was also an avid fan for The Ohio State Buckeyes, always cheering them on through every championship season.

Family and friends can gather to honor and remember Pam at a visitation on September 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will follow the next morning, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus, OH, with Father Thomas Buffer officiating.

The family would like to extend their deep and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Bella Care Hospice and Darby Glenn Nursing Home, for their compassionate care and empathy during this time.
