Pansy Ackley

Pansy Ackley, 86, passed away on July 11, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1940 in Biscuit, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Ackley, parents, Willard & Goldie Newsome, sisters Rose Watrus and Faye Justice.

Surviving family includes daughter, Joyce (Mark) Fullen; grandkids, Danielle (Christopher Ross), William Fullen (Nicole Jackson), Olivia Fullen; great-grandkids, Caleb, Marissa and Warner Ross, Kai Fullen and Willow Fullen; bonus great-granddaughter, Briana Nicholas; siblings, Violet Bonn, Vern (Ginny) Newsome.

Pansy was born a coal miners daughter. She moved to Columbus, OH after graduating from high school where she met her husband Bill. They were married October 14, 1961 in Columbus, OH. Together, they raised their daughter in Westerville, OH where they lived for 50 years. Pansy was very involved in her church. She had worked many years in the insurance industry. Pansy loved her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH.

A Funeral Service will begin at 10am, Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the funeral home followed by procession to Kingwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to National Church Residences Foundation.
