Paranthaman "Paran" Somasundaram, 55, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 in Columbus, OH. Paran was born on August 12, 1963 in Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka to the late Ramalingam and Logawathy Somasundaram.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth 'Liza' Ebacuado; sons, Jeyshan Paranthaman and Nereshan E. Paranthaman; brother, Padmajith (Padman) Somasundaram; sisters, Yaso (Siva) Sivanesan and Sumithra Thayalan ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Paran was a loving husband and caring father. He was a very fun-loving and social person. He enjoyed cooking, especially spicy foods. Paran liked baila music and talking for hours on the telephone to his family overseas.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 pm. Inurnment will occur at Blendon Central Cemetery.
