Patricia A. Grooms, 85, of Columbus, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Heartland of Westerville.
She was born January 26, 1931 in Columbus, daughter of the late William and Opal Mann Murray.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Thomas Murray.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Grooms Sr.; son, William "Bill" Grooms Jr.; granddaughters, Monica Grooms (John Penrod) and Michelle (Robert) O'Malley; great grandchildren, Talia, Cierra, Brenden, Makayla, Jaylee and Dominic
Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, February 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd. Columbus.
Interment will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215.
