Patricia (Patty) Mechling passed away at her home on December 13, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Paul, of 55 years and her three sons, Chris, Paul Jr., and Shannon; her sisters, Shelva and Bernice; her brother, Daryl; five grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer), Lacy (Cody), Nathan, Megan (Wes), and Brandon; and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel (3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43123) on December 23rd, 2025 at 10:30am to 11:30am, followed by the service at 11:30am. Patricia will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden at 1pm.
