Patricia Ann Mills

Patricia Ann Mills, born April 29, 1928, passed away peacefully in the early morning of April 16, 2025, at the Westerwood Assisted Living facility in Columbus, Ohio. She spent her last evening surrounded by her family.

Pat, or Patty as those close to her lovingly called her, graduated in 1946 from Linden McKinley high school. She dedicated her life to the service of her family and her community. You could always count on Pat’s calm and loving demeanor to be the calm in any storm. Her time on this Earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith. Pat was quick to make friends and those friendships were lasting. She had a profound impact on everyone she met.

Pat was an avid reader who also loved being outdoors and training the family bird dogs. She looked forward to annual camping trips with her family each year. When the weather was nice you could find her hiking or golfing with her husband. Pat had a heart for service and volunteered at both St. Ann’s Hospital and St Vincent De Paul in Columbus. Before retirement she worked at Chase Bank as a loan officer.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Clarence, after 63 years of marriage. Also preceding her were parents Bernice G. Wake and Charles P. Foley; and brothers Charles (Myrna) Foley and James (Anita) Foley; and her half-sister Rita (Carl) Sharpe.

Pat is survived by her sister Mary (Jim) Hunt; son Chris (Carol) Mills, her grandchildren Erin (Jason) Turner, Lisa (Matthew) Majesky, Beth Reiter, and Angela (Jim) Rinaldi; her two great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 22, 2025 from 5 pm - 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus OH 43231

Funeral and Mass will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 11am at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany with interment at Resurrection Cemetery, in Lewis Center, immediately following the mass.
