Patricia Ann Boldman, 71, of Canal Winchester, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026. She was born on August 29, 1954, in Chillicothe.
Patricia was a fighter in every sense of the word. A kidney transplant survivor and a two-time cancer survivor, she faced life's challenges with remarkable strength, determination, and grit. Even through her final battle with cancer, she continued to show courage and resilience that inspired everyone around her.
Above all else, Patricia loved and protected her family fiercely. She was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in the people she loved. She had a sweet and caring heart and spent much of her life helping and caring for others, always willing to lend a hand or offer support when it was needed. At the same time, Patricia was known for being honest, feisty, and unapologetically direct - she had no tolerance for nonsense and always spoke her mind with conviction and humor. Those who knew her best loved her for exactly that.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Forrest Paul Boldman; her parents, Harry and Betty (Willett) Parker; and several siblings.
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Jesse (Beth) Green and Christina (Brett); her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa "Dragon" Derreberry, Jacob Green, Andrew Green, Andreanna Green, Bradley Yerian, Brooke Bernard, Stacy (Kris) Bernard, and Gretchen (Corey) Green; and her precious great-grandchildren, Greta Johnson and Atticus Derreberry, with another great-grandchild, Forrest Derreberry, expected soon.
She is also survived by her siblings (Betty) Chuck Rose of Tennessee, David (Jo Ann) Parker of Michigan, and Ricky Marvin Parker of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her siblings Garry E. (Kenna) Parker, Charles William Parker, Roger (Chris) Parker, Dennis Parker, Harry K. Parker, Peggy L. Christ, Kathline Parker, and Norman Parker.
Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved taking walks with her dogs, doing puzzles, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She had a sharp wit, a strong spirit, and a sense of humor that could light up a room even during difficult times.
The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her dear friend, Beverly Hockman, whose love, compassion, and dedicated care meant so much to Patricia and her family. She was truly considered family.
Patricia's strength, love, humor, and fierce spirit will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tails of Second Chances, a charity near and dear to Pat's heart.
