Patty Connors

Patricia Ann Connors (Patty), age 72, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Kobacker House. After a long and courageous 102-day journey through ICU and hospice care, where she demonstrated incredible strength, she is now at peace and free from suffering.

She was born January 29, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elena (Castionetti) Guglielmi, and by her husband, Marty, of 35 years.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Guyleena) and Erin; grandchildren, Stephen, Tammy, Maggie, Nomi, Gavin, Galeesia, Zach, and Gabby, and great-grandchildren, Dimitrii, Hunter, Kayden, and Braylon. Patty is also survived by her siblings, Marie (Michael) Jones, Rita (Gary) Miller, Eugene Guglielmi, and Marlene (Dave) Hughes; along with many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.

Throughout her life, Patty held many jobs, reflecting her strong work ethic and dedication. She worked at Sequoia Bowling, Scotts Inn, The Federal Reserve, Sears Candy and Peanut Counter at the Northland Mall, Tool Box Bar and Grille, Remos Pizza, Avon, Tupperware, Woody’s Bar, the Northland Mall Movie Theater, Ruth’s Catering at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, and Fear Columbus Haunted House.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, from 4-6 p.m., followed by a time of sharing memories.

While death brings sadness, it can also bring peace and closeness to loved ones who still have their lives to live. How many times have we been reminded to communicate our thoughts and love to the living? In lieu of flowers, if you wish, take a friend or loved one to lunch or dinner and tell them of the things we only think of and say after the loved one is gone; or you may consider a contribution to Kobacker House in Patty’s name.

Patty was hard working at everything she had done from the beginning of her precious life to the very end.
