Paul Allan Watson

August 31, 1964 — June 22, 2014

On the afternoon of June 22nd, 2014, Paul Allan Watson, passed away surrounded by family after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Paul was 49 years old. Paul was born on August 31st, 1964 to John (Jack) and Mary Watson in Brook, Indiana and lived in Columbus since 1970. He earned a B.A. degree from Taylor University in Upland, IN and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University. He had worked at the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation for 27 years. He was a member of the Grove City Vineyard since its beginning.

He is preceded in death by his niece, Grace Watson.

He is survived by his wife Colleen (Cully) Watson, their children Abby and Matthew Watson, his parents Jack and Mary Watson, his brothers Steve, Mark (with Leah) and Philip (with Kaitlin) Watson, his parents-in-law Janice and Joe Sipes, Roger and Patti Powell, his 10 nieces and nephews, and his dog, Bebe.

Special thanks to Paul's wonderful church family at the Grove City Vineyard, the James Cancer Center, and Ohio Health Hospice. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Grove City Vineyard, 3005 Holt Road, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Grove City Vineyard.
