Dr. Paul C. Bennett passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 85.
He is survived by his sweet wife of nearly 65 years, Annie Laura Black Bennett, their children and spouses, many grandchildren & great grandchildren and his beloved cat, Ginger. Paul is also survived by four siblings and a large extended family.
Paul was born in Lehi, Utah to Clifford and Dorothy Carr Bennett.
He was the 6th in a family of thirteen children.
Based on the stories he told, it's a miracle he survived his adventurous childhood! After serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict, Paul attended dental school at Loyola University Chicago. He and his family eventually settled in Columbus where Paul spent nearly 30 years serving the youth of the Buckeye Youth Center (BYC) and the Training Institute of Central Ohio (TICO) as their dentist. Paul was also a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as Bishop of the Scioto Ward and in the very first presidency of the Columbus, Ohio Temple.
A memorial service will be announced at a latter date.
