Paul Raymond Campbell

Paul Raymond Campbell, 87, of Columbus, passed away on October 29, 2026. He was born in Howard, Ohio on December 15, 1938 to the late John and Olive (Whithmore) Campbell. He married Winnie Spangler, and she survives.

Along with his loving spouse of almost 38 years, Paul is survived by daughters, Laura (Bob) Enright and Lana (Jim) Markley; son, James (Jennifer) Hughes; special niece, Beth Campbell; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by brothers, Murle and Donald.

Paul served in the United States Army from October 1961 to August of 1963. After serving, Paul was a valued employee with the Conrail Railroad company for almost 50 years, until his retirement. When he wasn’t working, he loved racing, hunting, antiquing, and taking care of his wife. Paul loved to treat his family to a steak dinner whenever they had the time to get together.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 12pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123.

A service to honor Paul’s life will be held at 12pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel. Services provided by son, Pastor James Hughes. Burial to follow services at Concord Cemetery.
