Paul E. Mason, Sr., 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Columbus, OH. He was born on July 12, 1927 in London, OH to John and Sarah Mason.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose M. Mason; brothers, Benjamin, Patrick, Theodore, Harry, Charles and Joseph; and sisters, Ruby, Grace, Violet, and Mary.
He is survived by children, Paul (Catharine) Mason, Jr., Stephen (Patty) Mason, Carol Ann Frankenberg, Rhonda Knight and Ronald (Kristine) Fisher; grandchildren, Ryan, Corey, Kyle, Mikaela, Ben, Jessica, Amanda, Laura and Neil; several great grandchildren; sister, Glenna "Frieda" Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was a Navy Veteran in WWII and an avid Buckeye fan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 followed by Funeral Services at 12:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association, PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693 in Paul's honor.
