Paul Evans, 95, of Columbus, OH, passed away on October 24, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family.
Paul was born on July 22, 1923, in Keaton, KY to the late Proctor and Mary Evans. He was a World War II veteran, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Julia Marie (Carr) Evans and his only son, Timothy Evans.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Beverly Anne Evans, Sharon Lee Vitt and Shirley Jean Sapp; son-in-law, James Arthur Sapp; granddaughters, Angela Dawn Evans, Paula Nicole Evans, Grace Alexandria Winstead (Sapp); grandson, James Arthur Sapp, Jr.; great-grandsons, Hunter James Sapp, Jackson Eli Sapp and Carter Timothy Evans; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family has requested a private burial service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mount Carmel Hospice and Gertrude (Trudy) Abbey (Homecare.com) for their support in his final days.
