Paul was well known in his neighborhood of Clintonville as a kind and thoughtful man who for decades faithfully delivered the weekly paper to hundreds of homes until he was almost 80 years old. Throughout his 80's he was a fixture on the Clintonville streets pushing himself in his wheelchair to Kroger or all the way to the Kemba bank on High and Henderson. So often, kindly neighbors would get out of their cars and offer to push him. Sometimes he accepted, sometimes he refused. But always he was thankful and gracious and left the person feeling they had met a new friend. To know Paul was to be blessed with a sense of love and joy.
At the very heart of Paul was his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He had complete trust and peace in God, no matter the circumstances. Paul's favorite scripture was Psalm 100, which begins with the words, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord with gladness: Come before his presence with singing." Paul lived his life filled with the joy of the Lord, and always came before his Lord humbly and gratefully. And now Paul will "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, and be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." Psalm 100:4
Paul is survived by his sisters, Bertha May Wiley, Anna Marie Fox, Mildred Ferriman, and Emmalene Kay Rinehart; and by those he also considered family: Marian Robinette, Janel Robinette, Gabrielle Robinette-Portman, Allan Robinette and Jay Robinette. As well as many nieces and nephews.
