Paul Sylvester Gardner was born on June 9 1952 to Paul and Virginia Gardner. He was born and raised in Columbus, OH. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post 89. Paul served in the Army for 4 years with an honorable discharge.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Virginia Gardner, sister Lisa Knotts, wife Patricia Diane Gardner, and sister Delores G. Porter.
He leaves behind his daughters Sylvestine (Elbert) Cates, Paulina (James) Manuel, Paula (Edward) Beatty and Sharina (Carlos) Head, grandchildren Acquila, Cierra, Lauren, Courtland and Daxton Cates, Rakim Manuel, Maria Beatty, Carlos, Jr, Cortez, Cortae Head, siblings Esther Seward, James Michael Gardner, Toi Gardner-Harris and Lori (Ted) Gardner-Bishop. He also leaves behind his step children, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 1:00pm until time of memorial service at 3:00pm.
