Paul Christopher Garrett

Paul Christopher Garrett, age 44 of Worcester, MA, passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center on September 3, 2020, after a bravely fought battle with cancer. He was born on October 10, 1975 in Dennison, Ohio. As a child he enjoyed going to Dennison park where he would watch the Claymont Marching 100 practices, skated at Big Wheelie Skate Center, and was an alter boy at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dennison, OH. Paul grew up in Tuscarawas County, Ohio and was a 1993 graduate of Indian Valley High School before moving to Columbus, OH where he furthered his education at The Ohio State University, earning his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Political Science. Paul loved the time he spent living in Columbus, especially enjoying the time he spent with his many friends and going dancing every chance he got. Most recently, he had resided for the past five years in Worcester, MA with his loving partner. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan. Paul loved watching his nephews play sports. Paul is survived by his lifetime partner Jamie Wolfe, sister Nicole (George) Peters, nephews Jaret Aubiel, Kole Aubiel and Will Aubiel, step mom Ginger Garrett. Paul was preceded in death by father Dean Garrett, mother Patricia (Downing) Davis, his name sake Uncle Paul A. Garrett and his K-9 companion Holly.

Family and friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm.

Burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
