Listen to Obituary

Paula Marie Breitenbach passed away at home on October 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 11, 2026.

Paula will be remembered for the joy she found in everyday life and for the love she shared so freely with the people around her. She was an avid reader who enjoyed getting lost in a good book. She loved to cook for friends and family, and her care was often felt around the table, where time together mattered most. She enjoyed long road trips with her loved ones, and she also loved spending time thrifting and visiting antique stores, always finding pleasure in the search and the stories behind special things. She always enjoyed a fun trip to the casino with her sister, Sallie. Paula loved her cats dearly, and she treasured the comfort and companionship they brought. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends, and to many she was simply everybody’s favorite auntie.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna (Robert Jr.) Kelly and Sallie Breitenbach; her sister-in-law, Roberta Breitenbach; her nephews, Robert “Little Bob” (Rachel) Kelly III, Jeremiah Breitenbach, and Brian (Timberly) Breitenbach; and her niece, Lisa (Shaun) Bates. She held a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and her memory will remain close to her family and friends and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Paul Breitenbach; her mother, Louise Breitenbach; her brothers, Paul “Sonny” Breitenbach Jr. and Mike Breitenbach; her sister, Deborah Breitenbach; and her nephew, Jeff Kelly.

Paula’s life was centered on love, laughter, and togetherness. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
