Paula Jenyk Kautz
October 20, 1943 — March 15, 2020
Paula Jean (Jenyk) Kautz, 76, of Clintonville, Ohio, peacefully went home on March 15, 2020.
She was born on October 20, 1943 to the late Paul and Jessie Jenyk.
Surviving family includes husband, of 28 years, William (Bill) Kautz who was the love of her life; brothers, Tim (Patty) Jenyk, John (Trudy) Jenyk; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.
Paula graduated with her Bachelor Degree from Ohio University. She retired from Columbus City School teaching special education and language arts after 31 years.
Paula, during her retirement, tutored elementary students for 10 additional years. Teaching was her passion not just a career. She was awarded the Who's Who of Teachers twice.
She was the past president of the Clintonville Woman's Club; and, she loved cats, dogs and koala bears.
As a child her grandmother gave her the nickname "Grace" because she could trip over a twig.
She was loved by all who encountered her and will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Kobacker House.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Friday, March 20th , 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home with a service immediately following.
