Pauline L. Patterson

Pauline "Paula" Patterson, 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away August 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Paula was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, 1959. She spent most of her early childhood in Fairmont, West Virginia.

She was employed for over 30 years at Riverside Hospital in EVS and Transport Call Center.

Paula was an avid Star Trek and Dr. Who fan. She loved her Ohio State Buckeyes and West Virginia Mountaineers. She loved her family and friends more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her husband James "Rocky" Patterson, mother, Waneta Bridwell, grandfather James L. Bridwell, best friends Dee Jackson and Connie Poe.

Paula is survived by her daughter Selena (Markie), grandchildren Asiana Mattison, Tyler Starkey and Kaleb Starkey, sister Pam (Terry) Hughes, nephews Ron Ratliff, George Ratliff, Sean Hughes and Kyle Hughes along with many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 5pm to 6pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
