Peggy A. (Bowman) Doughty, Columbus, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017. She was born on August 1, 1949.
Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence B. Bowman and Arlene L. (McFarland); brother, Lawrence Earl Bowman.
Survived by husband, Raymond Doughty; daughters, Regina (Scott) Morgan, Jacqueline Doughty and Rebecca Ballo; sons, Michael Doughty, Philip Doughty Sr.; sisters, Joyce (Charles) Lemley, Gloria Bowman; brother, James (Bonnie) Bowman; grandchildren, Ashley Morgan, Lily Boggs, Ruth Boggs, Andrew Morgan, Awa Ballo, Ethan Morgan, Mikayla Doughty, Philip Doughty Jr.; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio, life long member of VFW National Home for children, life long member to VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Outstanding President District 11 to Ladies Auxiliary 1598, Columbus, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Inurnment will be held at Grove City Cemetery (New), 3605 Grove City Rd., Grove City, OH.
