Peggy Ann Turner, 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on November 1, 2026, with her husband, James R. “Jim” Turner, by her side.

Peggy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and cherished member of her family. She shared 50 years of marriage with her loving husband, Jim, and together they built a life and family filled with many years of memories.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Albert Wright; her mother, Delores Persinger; her stepfather, Ed Persinger; her brother, Lester Wright; and her sister, Pamela Robinson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James R. “Jim” Turner; her sons, Jimmy Turner, Rickey Turner, and Billy Turner; her sisters, Teresa Kniece (Frank Karshner), Eileen Fyffe, and Nancy Diaz-Wright (Gilbert); as well as numerous grandchildren whom she loved dearly, and the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Peggy leaves behind a family whose hearts are filled with both love and sorrow, but even in the pain of saying goodbye, there is comfort in faith. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that God draws near to the brokenhearted, meeting us in the moments when our grief feels heaviest. And through John 14:27, Jesus leaves the gift of His peace, a peace unlike anything the world can give, encouraging troubled and fearful hearts to rest in Him. May that peace surround Jim and all who loved Peggy, and may they always find comfort in knowing that the love and memories she leaves behind will forever be a part of them.

John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
