Peter Matthew Simcic
June 15, 1940 — August 21, 2020
Peter Matthew Simcic, 80, passed away Aug. 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Catherine Simcic; sister, Dolly Pishner; brother, William Simcic; brother-in-law, Gene Gardner; dear friend, Glen Wright; as well as other family.
Peter is survived by wife of 57 years, Vicki Simcic; children, Laurie (Bob Sharp) Eichensehr, Teri Simcic, Jacquie (Brian) Cain, Trish (Mike) DiSabato, and Peter M. (Jennifer) Simcic, Jr.; grandchildren and great-grandson; sisters, Anne (Cliff) Smith and Cathy (Dennis) O'delius; many nieces and nephews.
Peter served our country in the United States Air Force. He then worked at Copco and retired from Unisource after many years of service. Parishioner at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson, OH. Peter enjoyed playing golf and bird watching.
Memorial Mass Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at 10am at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Inurnment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Simon and Jude Building Fund, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162.
