October 20, 1927 — December 24, 2013

Philip B. Shoup, 86, passed away December 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents, John Shoup and Mary Burt, brother, John "Jack" Shoup; ex-wife, Marlene Shoup Howard.

Phil is survived by daughter, Stacy (David) Graham; grandchildren, Sarah (Todd) Baumgartner and Ashley (Craig) Walter; step-grandchildren, Emily and Sarah Baumgartner; nephew, John (Cindy) Shoup; great nephew, Ryan (Corine) Shoup; close friend, Jewell Paxton and furry companions, Biddie and Ginger.

Navy Veteran of WWII; graduate of University of Dayton; Trooper of the Ohio State Highway Patrol; 32nd degree Mason and past Trustee of the Columbus Zoo. Phil worked at Corrugated Container Corp.; founder of Columbus "Cello-Poly" Corp.; founder and co-owner of Ohio Label Inc. Former Golden Master Handball Champion.

Visitation Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 2-4 pm with funeral service at 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phil's memory to Citizens for Humane Action "CHA" Animal Shelter, 3765 Corporate Dr., Columbus, OH 43231.
