Phillip B. Freeman, age 76 of Mt. Gilead, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on July 30, 2018. He was born on October 26, 1941 to the late Masco B. and Macie Ree (Dykes) Freeman in Laurel, MS. Phillip loved driving his Semi across the United States and his assortment of cars. Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Iva "Peggy" (Shipman) Freeman, children Debora Tudor, Ronald (Cheryl)Shaffer, Kathryn (Brett) Rigney, Randy Shaffer, Harold "Todd" (Jose Real) Freeman, Thomas (Christine) Freeman and Sandra Carol McCoy, grandchildren Holly (Brian) Cudia, Chad (Barbara) Fairchild, Kelsey (Jeremy) Jenkins, Cuyler Rigney, Devin (Rachel) Shaffer, Christopher Tudor, Megan Freeman, Parker Freeman, Jacob McCoy, Kaliey McCoy, great grandchildren Chase, Kensie, Brayden, Brody, Evelyn, Oliver, Leo, Sidney and Shelby, K-9 companion Winnie and Sweetie. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Claire Ree Freeman and Horace Burkett Freeman.
Friends may call at Bryn Zion Baptist Church, 5520 County Rd. 240, Mt. Gilead, OH on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2:00pm until time of service at 4:00pm. Burial to follow at Bryn Zion Cemetery, Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Morrow County Hospice.
