Phillip Hartzell, 68, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. Phillip was born on February 19, 1946 in Brookville, Pennsylvania to Harold and Joan (Sollinger) Hartzell.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by wife, Rose Hartzell, Children, Matthew Hartzell, Kimberly Steele, Shellie Eberline, Sean VanHouten, Stacey Hartzell, and Sarah Hartzell; Grandchildren, Jessica Hartzell, Justice Eberline, Jasmine Eberline, Jordyn Eberline, Victoria VanHouten, and Maxwell VanHouten; Great grandchildren, Shawn Hartzell, Dominic Hartzell, Zaiden Schoolcraft, and Masen Simms; 8 siblings; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Columbus Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to EWTN, www.EWTN.com/donatenow in Phillip's honor.
