Pui Kan Chan, 85, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away at home on September 19, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Hong Kong on January 29, 1940 to the late Koon Chiu Chan and Mui Leung. He is survived by his wife Sai of 57 years, his children Irene (Stephen) Tang and Danny (Conny) Chan, granddaughters Valerie Tang and Carina Chan, sister Lilian (Waleed) Hanafi, and numerous nephews and nieces. Pui Kan was preceded in death by his parents, sister Pui Lan, brothers Pui Kwan, Pui Kuen, and Pui Ching.
Pui Kan attended and graduated from Pui Chung High School before going to work for the British Government at British Military Hospital in Kowloon, Hong Kong for more than 28 years. Pui Kan was a huge soccer fan and always looked forward to watching the World Cup. His hobbies included fishing, swimming, horse racing and going to the casino.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Zusman Hospice from which he received exemplary care for the last several months of his life.
Pui Kan will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Private viewing and cremation services will be held on September 24, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home at 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH.
