Rachel E. (Galentine) Hix, 67, of Columbus, OH, passed away February 26, 2014. She was born on September 21, 1946.

Surviving family includes, husband, Charles, parents, John F. Sr. and Mary Ann Galentine, children, Tina (Pat) Davis, Lois (Rick) Jacobs, brothers, John F. Jr. (Marty) Galentine, Stephen L. (Donna) Galentine Sr., grandchildren, Madison E. Davis, Richard C. Jacobs, Ted J. Jacobs, James T. Jacobs.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Ohio Health Hospice. The family would like to thank Doctor's West and the nurses and doctors and Ohio Health Hospice. Special thanks to #3 nurse Angie Lennon.
