Rachel E. Lucas

Rachel (Stewart) Lucas, 87, died peacefully Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Born September 22, 1927 in Lucasville, OH. to Alex and Susie Stewart. She married Ed Lucas in 1957 and moved to Columbus, OH. She and Ed relocated to Lockborune, OH in 1960. Rachel was a dedicated member of the TurnPoint Apostolic Church, located in Groveport, OH. She and Ed worked with the youth group for numerous years. Rachel is preceded in death by her parents Alex and Susie Stewart, brothers, Willy, James, Cleve, Fred and sister Beatrice (Stewart) Jordan. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed Lucas, her 4 children, Wayne (Pam) Lucas, Teri (Ralph) Spence, Mark (Kimberly) Lucas, Dayn (Daryel) Hanson, 10 grandkids, Shawn, Destiny, Landon, Samarra, Davaun, Chiara, Jacinta, Matt, Amber, Jesse and 11 great grandkids, Caleb, Juliana, Weston, Remington, Alyvia, Gentry, Scarlett, Mason, Nathan, Devan and Elaina, her brother Alex and sisters Genevieve Stewart, and Francis (Stewart) Houston. Rachel was most passionate about GOD and family but also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Visitation will be from 11am until time of memorial service at 1pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 at TurnPoint Apostolic Church, located at 7718 Groveport Rd, Groveport, Ohio, with Pastor Joseph Arata officiating.

Burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
