Rachelle R. Hoover

Rachelle Rae Hoover passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020. Shelly is the daughter of Jeannine Hoover Hollingshead and step-father Ray Hollingshead, both of whom predeceased her. Shelly was also preceded in death by her uncles William Hoover and Robert Hoover and her maternal grandparents Leah Mae and Raymond Hoover.

Shelly is survived by many cousins; Michael and Jennifer Hoover of Henrico, VA, Paula and Dana Ratcliff and Lisa Sturgill of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Pete Hoover of Hilliard, Ohio, Tim Hoover of Westerville, Ohio and Jan Cooper of Chesterfield, VA and their ten children. Shelly is also survived by cousins Roxanne Hoover and Tracy Hoover of Portsmouth, Ohio, Sarah Ashworth, Bobbie Leah Hoover Storer and William Hoover.

Shelly always loved a good party, especially when her sisters got together, Terri, Theresa, Lois, Rona and gone but not forgotten Mary and Rosie. It couldn't get any better. From Blue Mist to Wild Country Outlaw Band, there were the loves of her life. Shelly rarely missed seeing them no matter how far away they were playing. Our road trips were some of Shelly's fondest memories. Lake Pymatuning, Iowa, Florida and back home in Portsmouth.

A Celebration of Shelly's life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
