Ralph Edward Clark
June 9, 1944 — July 25, 2018
Ralph Edward Clark, age 74. Our family patriarch has joined his beloved wife, Ramona in heaven. On July 25, 2018, dad passed away at home with his loved ones by his side.
Ralph was born to Herbert and Bernice Clark on June 9 1944 in Columbus Ohio who preceded him in passing.
He spent most of his life on the south end of Columbus and often joked about being from the wrong side of the tracks. He attended Marion Franklin High School where he was active on the school basketball team.
He was employed by Federal Glass until their closing in 1979. From there it was various jobs including Central Hardware and Crosby's Drugs and finally ending up at Gobel Hardware in Roseville Ohio until his retirement in 2005.
In addition to his parents Ralph has been predeceased by the love of his life Ramona Clark, son, Terry Sanderson, and precious great grandson, Dominic Nye Price, siblings, Lowell Triplet, Doris Davis, Irene Hanes and Jerry Clark.
Ralph has left to cherish his memories, his beloved daughter, Denise Clark and Jesse Williams, sons and daughters in law, Richard and (Lottie) Sanderson, Michael and (Jennifer) Sanderson, Tawn Sanderson.
Surviving him also are his siblings, Lois and (Jim) Henry, Rose and (John) Henry, June and (Bob) Helsel, Joe and (Sharon) Clark, Herb and (Mary) Clark, Linda and (Jerry deceased) Clark, Alice and (Jerry deceased) Moore.
He loved being a grandfather and his loving grandchildren include, Patrick and Amie Price, Jessica Williams and Billy Perkins, Chris Sanderson, Tyler Sanderson, Heidi Sanderson, Ashley Sanderson and Tim Morris, Marshall Sanderson, Miranda Thomas, Bridgete and Josh Reinbold, Kyla Nethers, Renisha and Tylor Flood. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he cherished.
Ralph dearly loved his Lord Jesus, and his family with all his heart and he will be greatly missed.
The family requests that if you have something purple, please wear it to the service. It is the universal color to signify lupus, a disease that Ralph had battled since being diagnosed in 1980.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation, 12930 Chippewa Rd. Brecksville,OH 44141
Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Roseville.
