Ralph M. Chafin Iii "Bug"
May 29, 1940 — May 26, 2016
Ralph M. Chafin III "Bug", went home to be with the lord on Thursday May 26th. Ralph served as part of the United States Army Reserve.
Bug was preceded in death by his wife Rita Sue Clark, parents Ralph Jr. and Marjorie Chafin and grandmother, Minnie King.
Ralph is survived by life companion Peggie Parkison, sister Sue Rodgers (Larry), brother John (Polly) Chafin, daughters Renee Chafin, Minnie Chafin, Connie Coyle, Sons Ralph Chafin, and Michael (Amy) Chafin. Step-children, Nathen Parkison, Melissa (Michael) Shoults, and Melonie (Cuddy) Osborne, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special friends Tina Davis, George and Lena Ashley, T and Alesha Williams.
He enjoyed his ice cold beverages while sitting on his front porch, and puzzles. He was a loving companion, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by many.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by funeral services at 6:00pm.
