Randall Stuart Robinson

Randall “Randy” Stuart Robinson, 80, passed away at home on August 9, 2026. He was born in Columbus on May 2, 1946, to the late Delbert Earl and Ruth (Wears) Robinson. He married Thelma Vest in May of 2021, and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2026.

Those left to cherish the memories of Randy include daughter, Michelle (Louis) McClelland; grandchildren, Alycia Johnson and Austin McClelland; stepchildren, Brian (Amanda) Harris, Joshua Harris, Dustin (Jessica) Harris, Ethan (Sarah) Harris, Paula (Dylan) McMahan and Wesley Harris; numerous step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Chuck (Kay) Robinson, Donna (Rick) Ciborek, and Jeff (Renee) Robinson; and many other family and friends.

Randy was known as a man of many trades. He grew up in Obetz, Ohio, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Randy worked in a copper mine in Arizona before eventually retiring from that position. He returned to Columbus, where he became a dedicated mechanic for UPS. He retired a second time from UPS after many years of hard work and dedication.

When he wasn’t working, Randy loved his old cars and could often be found working on them. You could almost always catch Randy with some sort of tool in his hand. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew Randy will remember his funny faces, the old stories he loved to tell, and the laughter that always seemed to follow. These are the moments his loved ones will cherish and remember most.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 3pm to 5pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions - Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. A service to honor Randy’s life will be held at 5pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Newcomer Grove City. Cremation services to be provided at a later date.

Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His stories, laughter, funny faces, and the memories he made with his family and friends will live on in their hearts forever.
