Randy Owens, 58, of Columbus, peacefully left this world surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, January 16, 2015. He was born on August 5, 1956, in Columbus, to Thomas and Patsy Owens.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Owens; and brother, Timothy Short. Randy is survived by his mother, Patsy Owens; sisters, Tamara (Ron) Kaiser, Beth (Warren) Rose, and Lisa (Rick) Mounts; nieces and nephews; special friends, Brian Irvine and Phyllis Lelux; his faithful companions, Bella and Luke.
Randy proudly served in the United States Army. He recently retired from Honda Marysville, following 25 years of faithful service. Randy had a great sense of humor and was very generous. He had a great love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus.
