Ransom P. Havice, II, age 42, passed away unexpectedly and will be reunited with his beloved brother, Andy, who is preceded him in death. He leaves behind his son, Tripp; his parents, Rance and Jeri Havice; his sister and brother-in-law, Jordan Havice and Ismail Abdelqader; his niece, Avery Havice; and countless wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Ransom knew that family was more than a title. He valued the people who loved him, stood beside him, and were genuinely part of his life. He cherished those who were truly there for him and understood that family was defined by the love shared, not simply by blood. He chose to surround himself with those who brought him peace, love, and happiness
Ransom was incredibly talented and gifted in everything he did. He was exceptionally skilled in the electrical field and began working as a teenager for the family business, Efficient Electric Corp. His natural abilities, dedication, and passion for his work were evident in everything he accomplished.
Beyond his talents, Ransom took pride in the little things that made him who he was. He loved doing laundry and making sure his clothes were just right. He always took the time to iron and put himself together, and he never shied away from a little color. Pink, purple, orange. It didn’t matter what color he wore, as long as he looked good. That was Ransom.
Ransom loved to travel, explore, and go on adventures. He especially loved living in the South and being near the ocean. He had a deep appreciation for nature and found joy in simple things like walking. He would walk for miles, capturing pictures of the places he visited, almost always including a selfie with his signature smile and collecting knickknacks along the way.
Ransom was a true charmer who could charm the pants off just about anyone. He was charming, charismatic, and never met a stranger. His kindness came naturally, and he was always willing to lend a hand, even to someone he had never met. He had a genuine way of making others feel welcome and cared for. One time, while walking in the pouring rain, Ransom saw a man riding by on a bicycle. Without hesitation, he took off his own coat and gave it to the man. That simple act of kindness perfectly captured who Ransom was, a carefree spirit with a generous heart who was always willing to help someone else.
Ransom will be remembered for his infectious smile, his remarkable talents, his adventurous spirit, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Fly high and free Ransom. We will always love you son.
