Raymond Armentrout peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 89. He faithfully served the Lord for over 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Anna; parents, Winfield and Cora Armentrout and three brothers, Franklin Peterson, Starling, and Gene Armentrout.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Phil) Reynolds; granddaughter, Becky (Jeff) Kessler; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Shannon, Susie, and Savannah Kessler; sister, Ruth Moore; and many loving family members and friends.
Ray retired from Falter's Packing Company after 42 years and enjoyed the outdoors, especially caring for his animals and splitting wood. Thanks to the family and friends who lovingly and devotedly visited and helped support him at home over the last two years. Also thanks to the special people at Blanton House who loved and cared for him the last four months.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Reverend Dortha Ross will be officiating and interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery (New), Grove City, OH.
