Raymond W. Maple Jr.

Raymond W. “Ray” Maple, Jr., age 90, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. Ray was born on February 9, 1936 in Prospect, Ohio, to the late Raymond W. Maple, Sr. and Ester Maple.

Ray was a Marine veteran, a devoted husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and friend whose humor, loyalty, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He shared many years with the love of his life, his wife, Marilyn Ann Maple, who preceded him in death in 2005.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Clark and Kim Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Justin Caruso (Becca Kholer), Cori Blubaugh (Hank Radcliff) , and Kevin Clark (Becky Clark); and great-grandchildren Trenton Ray Bixler, Triston William Bixler, Braydon Matthew Bixler, Harley Ann Bixler, Raelynn Rose Radcliff, Lillian Renee Radcliff, Layla May Radcliff, Michael Bocephus Radcliff, Lily Isabella Clark, and Zeke Caruso, along with extended family members and many dear friends. “Cat” will miss him dearly .

Ray enjoyed spending time with family, sharing stories, and supporting those he loved. He will be remembered for his steady presence, loyal heart, and the care he provided as a legacy for future generations.

Family and friends may gather on June 1, 2026 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Northwest Columbus Chapel, 10051 Brewster lane, Powell, Ohio 43065. A service will be held at burial site to follow at 2pm, Clinton County Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Ray will be laid to rest with his family.
